Wikipedia: The Theatre de la Huchette is located at 23 rue de la Huchette in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. Founded in 1948 by Georges Vitaly, the theater was inaugurated on April 26 with the play Albertina Valentino Bompiani directed by André Reybaz.

The theater hosts The Bald Soprano and The Lesson, staged in their original, continuously since 1957. Played for over 50 years, these two pieces beat the world record of longevity uninterrupted in the same theater.
