Odaiba: Odaiba is a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay, Japan, across the Rainbow Bridge from central Tokyo. It was initially built for defensive purposes in the 1800s, dramatically expanded during the late 20th century as a seaport district, and has developed since the 1990s as a major commercial, residential and leisure area.

Hi, I suggest you do a “Famous Structure” report on the Pont du Gard:

The Pont du Gard Roman aqueduct is far more interesting than the Rainbow bridge.

Oh yeah and I have to research about the type of structure, the name, the creator of the Bridge, the function of this brdge, why the original builders chose this design and that’s all.

Is the Rainbow Bridge a structure?? I’m doing a famous report and I have to build a model on the thing that I am researching. I thought that this was a good one becuz it reminded me of Rainbow Bridge the place where all pets go to when they decease but I need a structure that is famous, easy to build out of easy materials, unique and one that no one knows of so I can be the only one in my scince class to build it. Do you think this is a good one?? I don’t think my classmates know about this Rainbow Bridge but do you think that I should do this one?? Or should I do the Statue of Liberty instead??

Hi “Aunt Linda”– I don’t think I’ve been to Disney World, but perhaps there might be a similar scenery. This is in Tokyo, on reclaimed land, an artificial island on Tokyo Bay.

I think you’re at Disney World!
But, I can’t remember just where you might be.

Yes, I’m in Odaiba! There’s the Tokyo tower, the famous Rainbow bridge and a statue of Liberty. This statue was commissioned by the Japanese from France, unlike the statue of Liberty in New York, which was a gift to the United States from France.
Thanks for the compliment! You made my day!

You’re in Odaiba, of course.
(By the way, great photography, Daphne.)
